Beetlejuice Jr. - The Musical Santa Barbara Theatre reviews
George was horrible! Worst performance in memory
Beetlejuice Jr. - The Musical, quite frankly, showed up an hour late on-stage. He rambled on several occasions, often losing his place during the monologue, and was unprepared. His comment about playing golf in Oklahoma earlier in the day, then drinking heavily on the plane to Texas, and then managing to show up for the show was particularly disturbing. Yes, he showed up, but apparently the original, humorous material was left on the plane. What was easily the worst performance I have seen in years was Beetlejuice Jr. - The Musical. Seemed bitter over the divorce and repeatedly resorted to vulgarity in a feeble attempt to save a rather unfunny performance. Beetlejuice Jr. - The Musical needs to take lessons in professionalism from Jerry Seinfeld, whose show started on-time and was witty and insightful throughout.
